Running on Empty
Service Description
Running on Empty: Burnout, Boundaries & Psychological Safety Most safety training deals with the hazards that can hurt your body. This one deals with a different kind of harm, the conditions at work that wear people down over time: chronic understaffing, unclear expectations, no say in decisions, difficult public contact, and the things people carry with nowhere to put them. Running on Empty treats these psychosocial hazards the way safety has always treated physical ones, as risks to be identified and controlled. Over a full day, participants learn what actually causes burnout (including the parts that aren't about the individual), the real difference between stress, burnout, and something that needs a doctor, how to set boundaries that hold up under a genuine workload, and how to disagree without damaging a working relationship, and they leave with a practical plan they can use at work. The program is evidence-based and grounded in current research, national standards, and legislation, and it's honest about what the research does and doesn't show. It's practical, experiential, and designed so everyone can take part at their own comfort level. This is workplace safety training, not therapy, counselling, or clinical care. It's led by a qualified workplace health and safety facilitator, and it's built to give people real tools, not easy answers. Duration: Full day Who it's for: Employees, supervisors, and leaders across any industry
